Q: You're fighting your evil clone and have to incapacitate them with something from your room, what's your item of choice?
A: My drum pad.
Q: When it comes to web design, what is your favorite aspect of it? Which parts do you find to be the most enjoyable for you?
A: Not sure yet, but so far I like seeing the code I've written appear properly on the screen.
Q: What is your favorite genre of music, and how did you get interested in it?
A: I love big band music and jazz from the late 1930s to early 1960s. I listen to a lot of Sinatra. I got interested in it after watching the movie Carol (2015). The soundtrack had some good songs and I went down a rabbithole on Spotify and the rest is history.
Q: If you could enter any fantasy realm, a book, a show, a game, etc, what would it be and why?
A: Star Wars hands down. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I love the locations and overall vibe. If I had to live on any of the Star Wars planets I'd want to live on Coruscant or Lothal.
Q: If you could live in any other country, which one and why?
A: I would live in Canada because it's close to the US and there's a lot of job opportunities in my field there.
Q: What is your favorite setting in fictional storytelling?
A: I like scifi
Q: What location inspires your creative side the most?
A: I don't really know? Downtown Richmond, Virginia I guess because of all the graffiti art around the city.
Q: What is your least favorite movie and why?
A: Finding Nemo is my least favorite because they forced us to watch that movie all the time in elementary school so I've seen it at least 30 times.
Q: What is a movie you had low expectations for but ended up enjoying?
A: Babylon (2022)! It was really long but it was very interesting and wild.
Q: If you could travel anywhere with all the expenses paid off, where would you go and why?
A: I can't decide on a destination so I'd like to go on a world cruise to see different places and try new foods.
Q: What is your favorite meal you've ever had and why is it your favorite?
A: Beef ribs from a restaurant called Buz and Ned's in Richmond, VA. The sauce is really good and the ribs are very tender.
Q: How important do you think self-improvement is and why?
A: I think it's very important because you should be able to learn from your mistakes and become a better person afterwards. Improving on yourself can also help you feel more confident in yourself.
Q: In terms of stocks, If you were to spend your entire life savings into investing in one company, what qualities would you be looking for in that company?
A: I'd want to invest in a company that is successful and has leaders that know what they're doing and don't make bad decisions.
Q: Who do you think is the best cartoon/anime villain? Would it be because of their motives and goals they want to pursue or is it the way they are written as a character in that story?
A: I can't think of one, so I'll say Pre Viszla from The Clone Wars. He was very evil and he was for the right cause but went about it in the worst way possible.
Q: Who is your favorite music artist and why?
A: My favorite artist is Michael Jackson because of how influential his music is. He has songs in all kinds of genres and you can really tell that he had high standards for his music.
Q: What has been your favorite place you have traveled to and why? What was the most interesting thing about it?
A: So far, I really enjoyed visiting Chicago. The city was really cool and there was a lot to see. The most interesting things to me were The Bean and this restaraunt called Ann Sather.
Q: If you could live in any other country, which one and why?
A: Canada because of how close it is to the US.
Q: What event in your life have you considered to be lucky?
A: As much as I don't want it to be this, I would have to say that quarantine was lucky for me as I grew a lot as a person during that time. I also grew closer to my mom and I was grateful that I got to spend time with my family. I also got to talk to my friends online a lot during virtual school and grew closer to them as well.
Q: What inspired you to apply to George Mason University and the field of study you selected?
A: Originally I wanted to pursue game design, and once I learned about the Green Machine, I knew I had to apply here. I am now a graphic design major and a member of the best pep band in college basketball.
Q: What is your favorite place that you've visited?
A: My second favorite place I've visited would have to be Las Vegas because of all the cool things you can see on The Strip and in the hotels. There was a lot of good food there.
